Which measures have to be taken by the guest?

  • As of 01 April 2022, the wearing of a face mask is no longer mandatory on the Swiss public transport system.
  • Transport companies ask travellers to be considerate of each other and to keep the required distance.
  • If ever possible, all paid services during a journey should be paid cashless.

Which measures are taken by transport companies?

The transport companies adhere to the respective protection concepts. The most important points are listed below.

  • Transport companies are intensifying their cleaning routine: in particular, contact surfaces such as handrails, grab handles and buttons will be cleaned several times a day. Wherever possible, cleaning services during journeys will also be intensified.
  • Floor markings or posters at the most important “hotspots”
  • The staff supports customers by helping them choose a seat or finding alternative free seats [/expander_maker]
