Glacier 3000

Map Glacier 3000

A must-see in the Lake Geneva region. The ascent by cableway to 3,000 metres (9,842 feet) altitude takes a mere 15 minutes. The breathtaking panoramic view to Matterhorn, Mont-Blanc and Jungfrau draws guests to the top, as does the Peak Walk by Tissot the world’s only suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks.

Already the first glimpse of the summit station designed by architect Mario Botta is spectacular. Immediately, a stunning panorama of no fewer than 24 snow-capped 4,000-metre giants reveals itself: Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Matterhorn, Grand Combin and even Mont Blanc in the distance.

Gstaad – connecting to the GoldenPass scenic route.

With the new GoldenPass Express, visitors benefit from a direct train connection from Montreux (1 h 30 min) or Interlaken (1 h 35 min) to Gstaad. From there, a PostBus takes them to the cableway valley station of the Glacier 3000 in only 30 minutes. So, even the journey there turns into a great experience.
