Domodossola to Brissago Islands by Train and Boat
Domodossola (IT) – Locarno – Brissago Islands
This journey is an unforgettable excursion by rail and boat through wildly romantic valleys, across flower meadows and dizzyingly high bridges. The perfect trip through Val Vigezzo and Centovalli (hundred valleys) to the Brissago Islands on Lake Maggiore.
The journey captivates with its rich contrasts. The Vigezzina-Centovalli railway runs for 1.5 hours from Domodossola (Italy) to Locarno through the wildly romantic Hundred Valleys, across flower meadows and dizzyingly high bridges, past waterfalls, and through vineyards and chestnut forests.
