Accessibility: Travelling can be so simple.

From the airplane straight to the loftiest mountain peaks: Nowhere else is travelling by public transport as easy as in Switzerland. The route network of train, bus and boat comprises roughly 29,000 kilometres and reaches every travel destination.

When the train comes in, boat and postbus are already waiting. Regular interval timetables enable travellers to reach all main destinations in half-hour intervals. There are regular connections even at 3,000 metres above sea level. All means of transportation are perfectly synchronised and ensure smooth travelling throughout Switzerland. That also holds true for travels from and to the neighbouring countries Italy, Germany, France and Austria.

No wonder then that the Swiss are uncontested world record holders when it comes to using public transport.
